How the color red started- Created with mixed media monoprints, made on a gel pad, printed on tissue paper from stuffed animal sewing patterns. Each print is then collaged onto a large, 30” x 40” canvas, and embellished with canvas circles that were cut on my Glowforge laser cutter. I also painted the circles with acrylic paint using the gel pad to add additional texture and depth.
